Day 13

Day Thirteen. 366 Project. Picture # 13. "Untitled" This dam is in Saint Edwards park located in northwest Austin. http://www.austinparks.org/apfweb/park.php?parkId=339 . It is hard to believe that a few short months ago this stream bed was completely dry due to the drought. The stream bed is now full and the relaxing sound of falling water can again be heard. This little peaceful creek zig zags creating 7 low water crossings on Spicewood Springs road. There are gates at each end of this stretch of roadway that closes the road when it flash floods. There is a lot of evidence showing water up to five and six deep has crossed over this road. This park is never very crowded even on weekends but it is almost always empty during the work day. Canon Rebel XTI on tripod. Canon 18-55mm lens. Focal length 18mm. f/22. ISO 100. 1/3 second. Any additional questions please contact me at jaybaum23@yahoo.com .

  1. Amazing! Austin has water? I love the soft water affect in the crisp landscape. It's so fun to see where you will take us everyday.
