Day 73. March 13.

Day Seventy Three. March 13. Picture # 73. "Pink Boat". It is hard to see in this picture but this boat had tailfins. This boat was produced in the late 1950s. Many sport boats from that era had fins that rivaled the cars. This classic boat is in great condition considering it's age and the unrelenting Texas sun. This jewel can be found outside of Volente Beach along side of Lake Travis. Cut into the steep hillside there is overflow parking for the Sandy Creek Marina, http://www.sandycreekyachtclub.com/ . There are a few empty trailers and this one boat parked in the weeds. Canon Rebel XTI, on tripod. Canon 18-55mm lens. Bower Superwide lens. Focal length 34mm. f/22. ISO 200. Dual exposures 1/60/1/2 second.
