Day Seventy Seven. March 17. Picture # 77. "The Swimming Hole". The recent rains have helped ease the drought but all the lakes are still extremely low. But on a lot smaller scale the local swimming holes have filled up again! This inviting scene can be found where Bull Creek intersects the Capital of Texas Highway. The park is free and the hours run from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. There are no lifeguards, and like many Texas parks there are few rules and swim at your own risk. I like Texas.
