This forlorn bait shop and grocery store now sits vacant and empty on Highway 29 out by Lake Buchanan. http://www.highlandlakes.com/lakebuchanan/ It looks like it has been a very long time since a customer's shadow fell upon the door. This is not the first business to have failed here. If you look at the architecture you can see the old service station with it's pump island in front.
